Refund/Credit Request Guidelines:
Qualification for Refund
1. Applies only to Customer direct mail
campaigns occurring within 90 days of receipt of the list from CADnet (today's date:
06/13/2006)
2. Refunds only apply to marketing
campaign(s) conducted by the Customer with a "mail piece" using the
postal address provided by CADnet (does not apply to lists rented for
telemarketing, fax, or email campaign purposes).
3. Mail purpose, mail date, and sample
mail piece must be made available to CADnet if requested.
4. Customer must forward to CADnet,
within 30 days of the mailing, sufficient detail of the returned mail
pieces. Customer may provide CADnet either a) the actual returned mail
pieces or b) sufficient written evidence (e.g. Excel Spreadsheet)
detailing the specifics of the returned mailings. Preferably, a copy
of Customer's order from a "bonded" mailing house should be submitted
to CADnet to receive any refund credit. Otherwise the credit will be
determined by CADnet based on the number of contacts in the list.
5. The number of returned mail pieces
must exceed 2% of the number of pieces mailed for Customer to qualify
for refund credit (5% for the Standard plan)
6. No refunds will be awarded if Customer mailed to a sample, or less
than 75% of the total number of postal addresses contained in the list
rented by the Customer.
7. Refund amount NOT to exceed rental
price paid by customer for the list.
Refund Amount
CADnet will gladly refund a percentage of your order
based on "Returned Mail Pieces".
The amount of the refund shall
always be determined by calculating
a) the actual number of Returned Mail
Pieces greater than a stated percentage of the number of pieces mailed
b) divided by the total number of
contacts rented
c) multiplied by three times
the
"price per contact" paid by the
Customer
Examples
Under the Standard plan,
customer rents list containing 20,000 names and postal addresses for $1800. Customer sends mail piece to
all 20,000 postal
addresses from the list. Customer later receives 1400 returned mail
pieces (7% returned). The number of returned mail pieces greater than
5% of the
number mailed = 400 mail pieces. The Customer's refund amount in this
example would be $108, calculated as 400 mail pieces times 27 cents per contact
(refunded at three times the per-record charge of 9 cents). Refund
cannot exceed list rental price of $1800.
Under the Premium plan, customer rents list containing 20,000
postal addresses for $3600. Customer sends mail piece to all 20,000 postal
addresses from the list. Customer later receives 800 returned mail
pieces (4% returned). The number of returned mail pieces greater than
2% of the number mailed = 400 mail pieces. The Customer's refund
amount in this example would be $216, calculated as 400 mail pieces times
54 cents per contact
(refunded at three times the per-record charge of 18 cents). Refund
cannot exceed list rental price of $3600.
Under the Custom plan, customer
rents list containing 20,000 postal addresses for $7200. Customer
sends mail piece to all 20,000 postal addresses from the list. Customer
later receives 600 returned mail pieces (3% returned). The number of
returned mail pieces greater than 2% of the number mailed =
200. mail
pieces. The Customer's
refund amount in this example would be $216, calculated as 200 mail
pieces times $1.08 per contact (refunded at three times the
per-record charge of 36 cents). Refund cannot exceed list rental price
of $7200.
Refund Payments
Refund will be issued by CADnet by
check within 14 business days of CADet's receipt of the Customer's
completed Refund Request Form and accompanying documentation of
returned mail pieces (see below).
