List Verification and Why it is so Critical 

CADnet's mailing lists are priced to reflect how recently the records in our various listings have been verified. CADnet contacts thousands of software users each month to directly verify and update the information in our CAD database.

CADnet verifies two basic sets of information when contacting software users.

First, we verify that the contact whose name is in our record is currently working for the company shown in the record, we then verify his/her title, and we verify that the business address is correct.

Secondly, we verify which CAD software application(s) that he/she is currently using (there are often multiple CAD applications in use by a single contact or by multiple contacts at a single site).

Why is this so verification process so important? The answer is intuitively obvious and yet the vast majority of list compilers tend to overlook this factor so critical in maintaining mailing list data integrity. People can and do leave their employer for a variety of reasons (e.g. voluntarily, layoffs, etc). In addition, companies either upgrade, or migrate from one CAD vendor version to another or even convert to an entirely new CAD software platform.

In addition, we use an automated system to verify every email address in our file and we eliminate those that we cannot verify their existence. This process can find 80% to 90% of dead addresses, saving time and money for businesses who send out newsletters and bulletins or simply wish to maintain a clean email contact list. 

Note: Most Mail Servers are configured to reject messages addressed to non-existing accounts. However, a few servers may simply ignore such messages and return no errors. So, sometimes you may get 'Valid Account' response with clearly an invalid Email address. For this reason we do not catch 100% of the dead addresses.

Our database is available to you in one of three (3) separate plans based on recency of record verification as explained below:

Standard:  The records in these lists have not been verified in the last 12 months. As a result, these lists are favorably priced and offer a tremendous value to our clients.  Some percentage of these records will be somewhat out of date, usually due to one of two factors. Either the contact has left the firm (in which case it may not be too difficult to locate his/her replacement) or the contact’s CAD software usage has changed. These standard lists are excellent since they enable direct marketers to minimize the expense of a single direct mail campaign or spread the lower cost over multiple campaigns.

Premium: These are the most accurate listings that are immediately available from CADnet. This list is comprised solely of records that have been verified in the last 12 months by CADnet. You can be confident that a large majority of the records are accurate, enabling you to tailor a message to your prospects that is sure to have hard-hitting impact. 

Custom: As the name implies, this list is made up of companies and contacts who we contact according to your custom requirements. With this list, regardless how recently the records were verified, CADnet will verify each record on your behalf. You simply tell us your specific needs and we will verify that every company and contact in the list is promptly verified before we deliver you the list.
